Position Summary

This position is mainly responsible for manufacturing components, sub-assemblies, or finish assemblies at an efficient rate, defect-free, and on time to meet customer demand.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous shop experience

Deliverables

  • Perform daily duties in a safe, ergonomic manner
  • Follow quality standards to produce defect-free products
  • Perform tasks efficiently to meet or exceed established rates/requirements
  • Adherence to the attendance policy, including scheduled overtime.

Essential Job Functions and Skills include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Team player with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to push, pull, carry, kneel, and reach in a safe manner
  • Responsible for reading and following work instructions, bill of materials (BOM), wiring diagram, schematics, control plans, set up instructions, and blueprints as required for processes within their responsibilities
  • Responsible for efficient setup/change over dies, tooling, and machines.
  • Responsible for keeping machines and/or equipment clean & organized
  • Responsible for completing and documenting all required quality checks
  • Responsible for the accuracy and timely completion of all required electronic transactions
  • Responsible for practicing NOAC (next operation as the customer) regarding quality and delivery
  • Responsible for adhering to the LightCorp Code of Conduct
  • Responsible for support and active participation in continuous improvement activities (LCMS)
  • Responsible for the completion of miscellaneous duties and projects as directed by the supervisor
